Loneliness touches 1 in 20 adults in the UK, taking away happiness and confidence, no matter their age or where they come from.
The Belonging Course offers strategies and teaches ways to make strong friendships and be part of a community.
The Belonging Course is tailored for Christians, volunteers, workers, and anyone experiencing loneliness or working with people that do.
All you need to embark on this transformative journey is a willing heart.
Together, let's cultivate a world where everyone feels they truly belong.

For many years, I've hosted courses that connect people from across the globe. It's my passion to create spaces where everyone feels at home.
When I discovered The Belonging Course, it struck a profound chord with me, not only due to my volunteer work and deep commitment to the Homelessness Sector but also because I saw its potential to make a significant difference.
I realised that this course could benefit a wide range of individuals - from those volunteering in support sectors, to the individuals experiencing these challenges firsthand, and truly, anyone seeking a sense of community.
Feeling this deeply in my heart, I believe that by bringing this course to you, I am participating in God's work, aiming to touch many lives within my community and beyond.

Safe Families created The Belonging Course which is designed to encourage and equip Christians to build a culture of belonging in safe and effective ways, both in and outside their church family.
Safe Families partners with over 45 local authorities and more than 1,200 churches around the UK. They have trained close to 7,500 volunteers in ‘belonging’ over the past 10 years resulting in over 8,500 families and 20,000 children being plugged in to community and benefiting from the connection.
In creating The Belonging Course, the aim is to help more churches and charities tackle the life-limiting loneliness felt by millions of children and adults across the UK.
Safe Families worked with a range of collaborators to create the course materials including the Bible Society, Jubilee+ and Thirtyone:eight.
